The last months of June and July of 2016, the most important exercises (WHITE SWORD 16) in the last 10 years of the NATO took place in Lithuania .

The main armies of the Atlantic Alliance were present in these exercises .The Danish army request for a modification of the gorund of the forest to become an special ground surface in order to store heavy duty trucks and tanks as well as the storing of more than 100 units of 20' containers with the material to proceed with the exercises.
